October 24th is #GoBlue Day, a day when we come together to raise awareness for the issue of child abuse in our communities. Luna CEO, Karen Orser, was featured on CTV Morning Live to promote Child Abuse Prevention Month and the role we all have in preventing child abuse.
6-in-10 children in Canada report experiencing some form of abuse before the age of 15; that number is closer to 7-in-10 here in Alberta. It’s a daunting statistic, but we want people to know that child abuse IS preventable, and everyone has a role to play in keeping kids safe.

Wear blue or light up your house in blue to help shine a light on child abuse and show our support for the thousands of children and youth in our communities whose lives have been impacted by abuse.
