Luna Introduces Director of Programs and Integrated Practice, Cynthia Tonet
We are thrilled to welcome Cynthia Tonet to the Luna team as Director of Programs and Integrated Practice.
In this key role, Cynthia is accountable for the programs and services at Luna and advocating together with our core partners to ensure systems, policies and processes are trauma-informed and support the healing and wellbeing of children and youth who have experienced abuse, as well as their families.

Cynthia has been a social worker in Calgary since 1995. She has held leadership positions at Kindred (Catholic Family Service), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area, and the YWCA where she worked for 14 years designing and delivering programs for women and their families experiencing domestic violence, poverty and homelessness.
Cynthia holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary with a clinical specialization, as well as a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Law with a concentration in Criminology from Carleton University.
