Database Volunteer

Commitment required: Six months, 3 hours per week + Orientation and Training

Typical Shift: 3-hour shifts Monday-Friday during business hours (typically 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm)

Database volunteers support database maintenance as well enhance reporting and outcome measurement by inputting and auditing existing data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Input and audit existing data to enhance reporting and outcome measurement.

  • Support the data collection and reporting processes by undertaking tasks to maintain data and database integrity as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Interested and enthusiastic about proper data collection and reporting to support outcome measurement.

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate maturity, reliability, and punctuality as well as a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.

  • Sensitivity towards family histories, potential impacts of previous experiences, and cultural differences.

  • Desire to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
