National Indigenous History Month

This year marks the 25th anniversary of National Indigenous History Month in Canada. Every June, Canadians have the opportunity to recognize the rich history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples across the country. Here at Luna, we continue to nurture, build and learn about how to walk with our Indigenous neighbours, and strive to understand how we can become true allies. National Indigenous History Month is a chance for us to recognize and honour the past and its impact, recommit to reconciliation, and continue building healthy, respectful relationships, all while celebrating and honouring Indigenous culture and history.

We look forward to seeing you at some of the events below, taking place around the city this month, and to share content from our Indigenous neighbours on our social media channels. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to join us.
